- Description
- The work is located in the Operations Building at Morgantown Lock and Dam, 26 Morgantown Lock Road, Morgantown West Virginia, 26501-2329. The work consists of furnishing and installing a new boiler for the Operations Building at Morgantown Lock and Dam. This work includes all necessary work to complete the installation of the new cast iron boiler, expansion tank, and air separator; all supply piping, venting, ductwork, wiring and all equipment necessary to adapt the new boiler to the existing HVAC system; and all other incidental work necessary to complete the installation of the system. The contractor shall provide all equipment and materials necessary to complete the work as shown and as specified. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be unused and meet the requirements of the specifications. The contractor shall verify dimensions and clearances in the field before beginning work. Reference Drawing No. 70/7.2 and 70/17A.1 are attached for reference. Before installation of the new boiler unit, the Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of the existing boiler unit. All materials and piping removed during the installation of the new boiler shall also be disposed by the Contractor offsite in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
