- Description
- The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (SLSDC) plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a twenty (20) foot long welded aluminum landing craft with an eight (8) foot beam to be delivered with two (2) outboard motors and a trailer. The boat/motor/trailer package shall be delivered as a complete turn-key unit tested and ready for use. Detailed drawings shall be submitted to SLSDC for approval prior to construction. The vessel shall be equipped with a bow door approximately fifty two (52) inches wide with a removable hand crank for raising and lowering the door. The hull shall be designed and fabricated with two (2) watertight bulkheads to create three (3) individually sealed buoyancy compartments. The vessel shall also have a D-shaped rubber push knees installed on each side of the bow door. The operating station/console shall be partially enclosed with glass in the front and side panels and a roof overhead. The vessel will be furnished with a bilge pump, compass and navigation lights as required by the U.S. Coast Guard. It shall be fitted with two (2) approximately seventy five (75) horsepower outboard engines and furnished with a galvanized steel, roller, dual axle trailer which is to be matched to the boat by the contractor. The solicitation will be posted on the fbo website on August 19, 2014 and quotations will be due on September 19, 2014. Award will be made on or about September 23rd, 2014. Selection will be based on price and technical acceptability. NAICS Code is 336611 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This is a total small business set-aside procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation.
