- This is not a Request for Project Proposals, but for planning purposes only. A project award will not be awarded from this announcement. The Government intends to announce a Request for Project Proposals for execution of a project award in support of Ground Vehicle Systems Research and Development related to specified research area(s). The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (formerly the Robotics Technology Consortium), and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. In July 2014, the Government entered into an Other Transaction Agreement with one (1) consortium, the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), in support of Ground Vehicle Systems related Research and Development prototype projects. It is the intent of the Government to make project awards to members of the NAMC as a result of member project proposals submitted via the Request for Project Proposals. The anticipated research area for which project proposals will be sought is: (1) Lightweight Integrated MTVR Cab; (2) MTVR Common Hydraulic/Lubricant Systems (CHLS); (3) Seat Restraint Development; (4) Single Cylinder Engine Technology Demonstrator; (5) Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Fleet Management; (6) Adaptive Response Floor System; (7) ARIBO Industrial Hygiene; (8) Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) Decision Support Toolset; (9) Hull Deformation Reduction; (10) Foundational Flooring System Design and Development.
