- Modernization/updates to Standard Electronic Module (SEM) module test equipment are required due to the obsolescence of the current test equipment. The current test equipment will no longer be supported after December 2014. The contractor shall perform V&V of the Acceptance Test Software for 14 SEM Modules. The 14 SEM Modules will be ultimately transferred by the Spectrum 9100 by NSWC Crane. The Acceptance Test Software V&V review process has typically two parts, the initial review and the final. The acceptance test software for each module will be executed on the GDAIS Teradyne Spectrum 9100 test timing measurement are per the test specification on a sample basis. The Acceptance test accuracy report will be validated. GDAIS will review with NSWC-Crane the results of the V&V performed on each module key code. The SEM Interchangeable Test Adapter (ITA) and modules will be supplied by NSWC Crane. The Operational Proofing for each key code will be performed at NSWCCrane. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
