- This is a pre-solicitation notice for the acquisition of a Manually Closed Deck Hatch System, spare parts, technical documentation, and installation support services in support of the 225' WLB Mid-Life Maintenance Availability (MMA) Project. The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, C&P3 Shared Services Division, intends to award one (1) Requirements type contract, with firm-fixed pricing, that includes a base year and four (4) option years. This solicitation will be restricted to Small Business utilizing FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 for commercial item acquisitions. The NAICS Code 332322 and the small business size standard 500 employees. The solicitation and specifications shall be available at www.fbo.gov on/about 15 DAYS AFTER 700-22 APPROVAL. This date is estimated at best, and it is the contractor's responsibility to check FedBizOpps regularly for release of the solicitation. All responsible and capable small businesses may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
