- Sole Source Synopsis PR No.: F6G0WG4211A001 This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. Any interested party should contact the below named for more information regarding this posting, all correspondence shall be received no later than 17 September 2014 at 1600 MST (4:00 PM). The Operational Contracting Office (140MSG/MSC), Buckley AFB, Colorado, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract to refresh the Intrusion Detection System for secure areas with the 140the Wing on Buckley AFB, CO manufactured by Advantor Systems Corporation. The procurement is a sole source to Advantor Systems Corporation because this requirement is a follow-on purchase to refresh the IDS in secure areas at Buckley AFB, Advantor Systems Corporation has proprietary rights for this particular system and this requirement is needed in order to be compatible with existing Advantor Annuciator. Classification Data: NAICS Code: 561621 FSC Code: K063 SBA Applicability & Size Standard: N/A (Sole source to large business Advantor Systems Corporation) Description of item(s) to be acquired: Refresh the Intrusion Detection System for secure areas with the 140the Wing on Buckley AFB, CO manufactured by Advantor Systems Corporation this is needed in order to be compatible with existing Advantor annunciator. Evaluation of Proposals: Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Offerors must also be registered in the System for Award Management database (available at: www.SAM.gov) per FAR 4.1102(a). Lack of registration in SAM will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of modifications (if any) or other information pertaining to this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a request for information in response to this synopsis.
