- Description
- The Contracting Office of the US Forest Service, Region 10, in Anchorage, Alaska will post a request for proposals (RFP) for the Cordova Ranger District (CRD) Fourplex Repairs project on the Chugach National Forest. The project work site is located in Cordova, Alaska at Cordova Ranger District Work Center, 913 Lefevre Street. Cordova, Alaska can be reached only by plane or boat. Work is planned to start in October 2014 and shall be completed within 30 days after issuance of notice to proceed. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The intent of this project is to remove, dispose and replace tub/shower units and vinyl flooring in bathrooms and removing, disposing and replacing carpeting in two apartments in the Cordova Ranger District Fourplex housing building. The schedule contains four (4) base line items; and one (1) option item. It is expected that a request for proposal (RFP) package will be posted on or about 10 Sep 2014. Responses will be due on or about 22 September 2014 by 10 am. This requirement will be posted as small business set-aside. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: Contractors can register in the Federal Business Opportunities website and receive notification on posted synopses. The system will automatically send notification, via email, of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. INTERESTED VENDORS LIST (IVL): To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project. In order to be eligible for contract award, vendors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to include certifications and representations.
