- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Regional Contracting Office for the 414th CSB in Vicenza, Italy will use the responses to this sources sought notice to determine potential responsible vendors capable of providing the services described herein. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide maintenance service for On-Call Services for SIEMENS HVAC Systems. REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall conduct the required preventive maintenance weekly (i.e. to ensure remote operation of the system, Evaluate equipment functionality, operate system software Siemens Desigo and quote mark Cruscotto Energia quote mark, Control the characteristics and the operating parameters of the system, Corrective maintenance and spare part); conduct the required inspection every six or three months, based on the specific need (i.e. to check the components list for defects, corrosion, dirt, wear and fitness for external and internal use, Check and verify the system messages, Indentify the technological status of each component, tuning of the control parameters, the programming software and interfaced signals, submit to the COR a detailed report and software backups, Run the backup copy of the software and user data designated); software update, software maintenance or changes to operational technical documentation; and shall be available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week (i.e. emergency call online and/or on-site). The places of performance are: Caserma Carlo Ederle (Vicenza, Italy), Caserma Renato Del Din (Vicenza, Italy), Camp Darby (Livorno, Italy). The Government contemplates to establish a firm fixed price contract for one (1) base year and two (2) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1.Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: HVAC software technicians / tecnici software sistema HVAC. 2.SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable www.dlis.dla.mil/forms/form_AC135.asp). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. NOTE: If the decision is made to issue a Solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation. The capability statement package must be sent by email to both Ms. Francesca Zotto, francesca.zotto2.ln@mail.mil, and Ms. Sebastiana Cappello, sebastiana.cappello.ln.asc@mail.mil. Submissions of interest must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on 11 August 2014.
