- Description
- A solicitation is to be released to repair or replacement of gas and water pipes, gas valves, and gas regulators. The gas pipe and water line at Bldg. 1602 require removal and replacement below ground. The gas piping located at Bldg. 1608 will also require replacement below ground. The function of the gas lines leading to both Buildings 1602 & 1608 are for overhead bay heaters only. These gas lines do not supply any boilers or water heaters. The function of the water line leading to Bldg. 1602 is to supply the fire suppression system only. Project location: Building 1602 & 1608, NAS JRB, Fort Worth, TX 76127. Magnitude of Construction - Between $25,000 and $100,000 Tentative date of solicitation release: 12 Aug 2014 Estimated construction times: Thirty (30) days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed Tentative closing date for Bids: 10 September 2014 at 11:59 PM Central Time In accordance with FAR 6.203 this acquisition is to be set-aside for Small Businesses.
