- Description
- NASA/GRC has a requirement for Disk to disk backup device with the following specifications: 1.24 Terabyte (TB) RAW capacity with 16 TB usable capacity in initial configuration, expandable to 168 TB Raw / 124 TB configured 2.Initial hard drives must be 2 TB 6G 7.2 K LFF Dual-port MDL SAS 3.Host interface must include two 10 GbEtwo 8Gb Fibre Channel and four 1 GB Ethernet 4.Must be capable of deduplication 5.Must be able to present up to 24 virtual tape libraries and NAS targets 6.Must be able to emulate up to 24576 tape cartridges 7.Must be able to emulate HP LTO-2/LTO-3/LTO-4/LTO-5/LTO-6 Ultrium Tape Drives in MSL2024 Tape Library 8.Must be able to integrate with existing Data Protector backup software and fibre channel infrastructure 9.Include system installation and startup 10.Include 3 Year 4 hr 24x7 service 11.Include Advanced Backup to Disk for Data Protector 10 TB license to use. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from OST, SOLE SOURCE - Not a Competition. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
