- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Office -Fort Riley (MICC-Riley), Kansas has a requirement in support of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Riley, Kansas. The Contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage and execute the work necessary to provide the specific required services and associated work for Masonry Repairs to various structures throughout the Fort Riley Military Installation. MICC-Riley will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. This Invitation for Bid (IFB), W911RX-14-B-0011, Masonry Repairs, is a 100%, Total Small Business Set Aside under NAICS Code 238140, Masonry Contractors, with a size standard of $14M. A Pre-Bid Conference will be provided to facilitate better understanding of the Government's Masonry Repair requirements as well as explain and demonstrate the proper methods for proper vendor bid development and submission. The Pre-Bid Conference will be available on 12 August 2014 at 9:00 am (CST). See Section L of the solicitation for further details. Industry question (s) submission period is 29 July 2014 through 27 August 2014. Industry questions received after 27 August 2014 may not be accepted. An IFB bid opening will occur on 28 August 2014 @ 2:00 pm (CST). All bids received as per these instructions will be opened at that time. Any bids received after bid opening is initiated will be considered late and processed in accordance with FAR 52.214-7. See Section L of the solicitation for complete details. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of any amendments of this IFB package. All bidders shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
