- This is a commercial Single Source solicitation notice prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516. The small business size standard is 500. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order for the acquisition four (4) EA Nortec 2000D+ Eddy Current Flaw Detector, based on the supplier Olympus Scientific Solutions (29192). Inspection/Acceptance: F.O.B Destination. Price will include all freight and handling charges delivered to Hill AFB, UT 84056.Discount Payment Terms: Net 30 Days Warranty Type: Standard Commercial Required Delivery: 30 Days ARO This is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation. Offers from firms other than from Olympus Scientific Solutions will only be considered when it can be determined prior to award that the items being offered will meet the Government's requirement. Award will not be delayed pending technical acceptability determination. The Nortec 2000D+ Eddy Current Flaw Detector is the only scanner authorized for use by the Air Force Nondestructive Inspection (NOI) Program Office as specified in Technical Order (TO) 1 A-1 OA-36. Olympus Scientific Solutions, Americas, is the original equipment manufacturer, and the only know source that sells the Nortec 2000D+ Eddy Current Detector. All current and/or future information about this acquisition, i.e. amendments, purchase specification, Questions and Answers (Q&A's), etc., will be distributed through FBO, therefore, interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most-up-to-date information about this solicitation. Any questions concerning this requirement must be submitted in writing via email at least 5 working days prior to the closing date.
