Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Boise VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a commercial sole source contract with Philips Medical Systems. This is a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Philips Medical Systems for labor, tools, parts, materials maintenance, calibration, and repairs for All Components of the Philips Medical Physiological Monitoring System, its accessories, and associated equipment located at the Boise VA Medical Center, 500 W. Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702. This agreement will include a base year and four (4) one-year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 4:00 p.m. MST, August 8, 2014, will be reviewed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS 334510 with a size standard of 500 people.
