- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-14-Q-0050 and is being issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 326211 with small business with an employee size standard of 1,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery it is the offeror's responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation on company letterhead to include all charges for the below listed items to be delivered in accordance with the specifications listed below: DESCRIPTION/ SPECIFICATIONS: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District has the following requirement: Supply and Deliver Various Tires by palletized (five (5) high) to Mat Loading Unit. Delivery will be at Ensley Engineering Yard, 2915 Riverport Road, Memphis, TN 38109. CLIN 0001 50 EACH - TIRE, SIZE: 11R22.5, FIRESTONE FD663, 16PLY OR EQUAL CLIN 0002 50 EACH - TIRE, SIZE: 255/70R22.5, FIRESTONE FS560, 16PLY OR EQUAL CLIN 0003 1 EACH - TIRE DISPOSAL FEE **NOTE: TIRES EXEMPT FROM TAX. TIRES SOLD FOR THE EXLUSIVE USE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE OR THE COAST GUARD ARE EXEMPT FROM TAX ACCORDING TO IRS PUBLICATION AS FOLLOWED: http://www.irs.gov/publications/p510/ch05.html DELIVERIES: Quick turnaround is necessary in order for the Government to fulfill its mission; therefore delivery must be made NLT August 4, 2014.
