- SOLICITATION This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to solicit, negotiate, and enter into a Firm Fixed Price NON-Commercial Supply Contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a competitive requirement for an AIRCRAFT BATTERY per Performance Specification MIL-PRF-8565k dated 25 June 2001. CLIN0001 - BATTERIES, AIRCRAFT QTY - 12 ea CLIN0002 - BATTERIES, AIRCRAFT QTY - 1 ea CLIN0003 - BATTERIES, AIRCRAFT QTY - 1 ea CLIN0004 - BATTERIES, AIRCRAFT QTY - 8 ea Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted via FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Quotes must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane. The POC is Mrs. Ashley Martin, Code CXRN. Offers must be e-mailed to ashley.b.martin@navy.mil. All required information must be received on or before 04 AUG 2014 Time 4:30 P.M. EDT.
