- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, contemplates award of a firm fixed price sole source contract to International Conservation and Education Fund (ICEF), Washington DC, 20003-2124. The work shall be performed within the Bokungu and Mondombe health zones of the Tshuapa District located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The period of performance will be 1.5 months from date of award. The North American Industrial Classification Standards (NAICS) code is 611710. The Sole Source Award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contractor shall provide for the training of up to three moneypox education teams and the performance of education outreach to 30 villages within the Democratic Republic of Congo. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. However, all quotes received will be considered by the Government. All interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide timely and effective services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within ten (10) days after publication of this notice, a sole source contract will be made to ICEF.
