- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Information Administration, intends to award a sole source contract to R.L. Polk & CO.This is a one (1) years contract. To provide license agreements for use of vehicle registration and historical odometer readings for currently registered vehicles. This includes the HIS Automotive National Vehicle Population Profile (NVPP) data and Truck Industry Profile (TIP) data. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii). This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within seven calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
