Description
Solicitation Number: W81XWH-14-T-0366 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement in support of the U.S Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (MRICD) in accordance with the specifications listed in the Minimum Essential Criteria to be provided in the solicitation, Ft Detrick, MD 21702. This procurement is a BRAND NAME ONLY. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. All responses to this solicitation must be submitted in digitized/electronic format. Paper copy responses will not be accepted. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-74. This requirement will be for Firm Fixed Price purchase order for the purchase of AB Sciex Triple TOF 5600 system based on the Minimum Essential Specifications BRAND NAME only. Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECS) for AB Sciex 5600 liquid chromatograph-triple TOF system Hardware: Be a free standing LC/MS/MS QqTOF instrument. Must be an analogous LC-MS QTOF system to existing MRICD instruments (AB SCIEX 4000 and 4700) to ensure a consistent platform for interlaboratory comparisons. Have a precursor ion selection mass range of 5 - 1250Da with a TOF mass range of at least 40kDa. Be capable of acquiring up to 25 MS or 100MS/MS spectra per second. Be capable of acquiring up to 100MS/MS spectra per second in Information Dependent Acquisition (IDA) mode. Have a MS high mass resolution equal or greater than 35,000 (FWhM) at m/z 956 using a 10 ms accumulation time. Have a MS/MS high mass resolution equal or greater than 30,000 (FWhM) on a fragment ion from [Glu]1-Fibrinopeptide B above precursor m/z using a 10 ms accumulation time. Have a mass accuracy less than 0.5 ppm RMS. Demonstrated in MS/MS on a fragment ion from [Glu]1-Fibrinopeptide B. The instrument must have a linear dynamic range greater than 4 orders of magnitude inter-scan linear dynamic range without signal reduction. Have a sensitivity in MS/MS mode of signal to noise equal to or greater than 60:1 for 200fg of reserpine injected on column. Must include all computer equipment including system controller, monitors, mouse, etc. necessary for normal use. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
