- The 766th Specialized Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI intends to award a purchase order for a sole source purchase to Steris Corporation for commercial services to provide a service contract to maintain 2 ea Steris Washer Model 3012 (16x16x26 Chamber Size), 2 ea Steris Sterilizer Model V-120 (20" Century Vacuum/208V) & 1 ea Steris Steam Generator Model CH08-821-500 (75-KW Eletrical/208V). Simplified Acquisition Procedures using FAR part 13, Acquisition for Commercial Items will be used for this requirement. These services must begin as soon as possible and will consist of performing certified calibrations and software upgrades by trained and certified technicians. This is neither a request for quote or announcement of forthcoming solicitation. It is the 766th Specialized Contracting Squadron's belief that Steris Corporation is the only qualified source to meet our needs. Interested sources that believe they can perform the services required may submit a capability statement to TSgt Alex J. Nieves and responses must be received by 4:00pm, Eastern Standard Time on 08 August 2014. The government will consider all responses but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. If no viable responses are received by the due date, the Government will issue a purchase order to Steris Corporation.
