- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See attached solicitation for specific information. Waste Recycle Equipment. One (1) Model HE-60-M (or equal) with the following specifications: Baler Specifications: Full eject horizontal baler capable of producing bale 60in W x 45 in x 30 in H; Baling system must include conveyor compatible with and made for baler; Full Ram penetration to travel within 5 inches of door (single 8inch I.D Bore cylinder); Motor must be available in 240, 360 Or 480 volt; Ram force 150,000 lb minimum; Replaceable knife inserts; Vertical tie slots in baler frame, wire guides under bale chamber floor; 3 year structural warranty with 2 yr all parts and 1 yr labor; Vendor must be able to have a Factory certified technician of their product with the capability to respond for repairs within 8 hrs. Baler feed conveyor specifications: 48inch above grade baler feed conveyor with transition chute; 48inch belt width; Lower photo eye; Upper level photo eye; Hopper access door with safety interlock; Hopper extension to mechanically integrate baler to conveyor; Emergency stops and cords Additional requirements: Freight must be included for all equipment; Hydraulic oil (full capacity of baler) and anchoring hardware; Installation of Baling and conveyor system; Offloading equipment supplied; Installation expense will include the assembly crew's travel, hotel and per diem; System startup and operator's training on site.
