- Laundry - Sources Sought Laundry - Performance Work Statement SOURCES SOUGHT 60th Contracting Squadron Travis AFB Ca. Submitted: July 24 2014 Responses Due: August 8, 2014 1.0 Description 1.1 The 60th Contracting squadron is seeking information/sources for laundry services on Travis AFB Ca. 1.2 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This Sources Sought is to determine the availability of businesses to include small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required products and/or services. This Sources Sought does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Sources Sought does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website and/or GSA E-buy. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. 2.0 Background The 60th Contracting Squadron located on Travis AFB is seeking potential sources for base plus four (4) option period laundry and dry cleaning services in accordance with commercial standards and federal, state, and local regulations. Laundry and dry cleaning services to be provided shall be in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services will include, but not be limited to, pick-up and delivery of laundry according to schedule; picking up and delivering correct quantities of articles to be cleaned; delivering laundry free of all visible dirt, debris, dampness, offensive odors, mildew, cleansing chemicals residue; dry cleaning clothing in an appropriate manner to have a uniform appearance; and ensuring items are properly cleaned/dry cleaned and packaged for delivery to our customers. 3.0 Requested Information/ Submission Response Details Responses shall include: 1) Business name and address; 2) Name of company representative and their business title; 3) Business Size and Type of Small Business (if applicable); 4) Cage Code; 5) DUNS Number; 6) Contract vehicles that would be available to the Government for the procurement of the product and service, to include ENCORE II, General Service Administration (GSA), GSA MOBIS, NIH, NASA SEWP, Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), or any other Government Agency contract vehicle. (This information is for market research only and does not preclude your company from responding to this notice.) 7) Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than five pages) demonstrating ability to perform the services listed in this description. Documentation should be in bullet format. Vendors who wish to respond to this should send responses via email NLT August 8, 2014 at 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) to jennifer.dantzler@us.af.mil. 4.0 Questions Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing by e-mail to jennifer.dantzler@us.af.mil. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. Questions will be answered by attaching a question and answer document to FedBizOpps website and /or GSA E-buy. 5.0 Summary THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY to identify sources that can provide laundry services for Travis AFB. The information provided in the Sources Sought is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Travis AFB has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and release of this Sources Sought should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
