The 9th Contracting Squadron located at Beale Air Force Base, California, 95903, is seeking information about qualified sources to provide non-personal services including all management, tools, supplies, equipment, components and labor necessary to install water treament plant and waster water treatment plant chlorination units at Beale AFB, CA 95903. Please see the DRAFT Scope of Work (SOW) below for further description of the requirement. Changes may be made to the SOW in any resulting Request for Quote. Please provide any questions, remarks, or requests for alteration of SOW. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify the industry of the USAF intent for contract action and to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, service-disabled veteran, etc.) Please indicate which NAICS code you will use to fulfill this requirement. Other Classifications: (ex: 8(a), HubZone, woman-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned) DRAFT SCOPE OF WORK Water Treatment Plant and Waste Water Treatment Plant Chlorination Units Beale AFB, CA 1: Install 200 PPD On-Site Hypochlorite Generation System. a. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, components and labor to install a 200 PPD On-Site Hypochlorite Generation System in accordance with all industry standards. Equipment to include but not limited to: Hypochlorite Generation System, Hypochlorite storage tank (6K gallon storage capacity), and water softeners as required. b. Contractor will perform a site visit to Beale AFB water plant to evaluate existing water/electrical/digital controls system. They will verify that the newly installed On-Site Hypochlorite Generation System will be 100% compatible with existing Beale AFB water/electrical/digital controls systems. c. The contractor installed On-Site Hypochlorite Generation System digital control must be compatible with Beale AFB Siemens controls and SCADA system. If not it must be stand-alone controls. d. Contractor will provide hands-on training to Beale AFB Water Plant operations staff, Training will include as a minimum: Day to day operational checks and all required scheduled maintenance tasks for the entire system. e. Contractor will provide 3 ea. Operations and Maintenance manuals for the newly installed equipment. f. Contractor will provide 1 Yr. service maintenance schedule in accordance with manufactures recommendations. During scheduled maintenance visits, the contractor will train Beale AFB personnel on schedule maintenance tasks. g. Contractor will provide one set of manufacturers recommended on-hand spare parts. Spare parts will include all equipment items and special tool requirements recommended by manufacturer. 2. Beale AFB will provide access to water plant for the contractor to perform on-site evaluation of existing water/electrical/digital controls system.
