- This is a Pre-solicitation notice. This Pre-solicitation notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Solicitation VA246-14-Q-0846, will be issued on or about 28 July 2014. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of Durham VA Medical Center shall be soliciting quotes on a full and open competition basis for solid waste pick-up and disposal services. Contractor shall be responsible for removal of all miscellaneous trash and non-edible garbage from the Durham VAMC, 508 Fulton St, Durham, NC 27705 facility. Period of performance shall be for a base and four option years. This requirement will not cover hazardous chemical, medical or radioactive disposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562111 Size Standard: $35.5 million. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
