General Information Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: DJBP0700NAS140224 Posted Date: June 5, 2014 Classification Code: R-Professional, Administrative and Management Support Services NAICS: 541618 - Other Management Consulting Services Contracting Office Address Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, National Acquisitions and Systems Section, 320 First Street, Washington, D.C. 20534 Description PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, National Acquisitions and Systems Section, Washington, D.C. is seeking proposals from sources having the ability to provide Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) compliance and certification audits at its facilities. Performance Period under this contract will be for an 11 month base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2014 and ending on August 19, 2015. Each four additional one year option periods begin August 20, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on August 19, 2019. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated 33 PREA compliance and certification audits Option Year 1: Estimated 33 PREA compliance and certification audits Option Year 2: Estimated 33 PREA compliance and certification audits Option Year 3: Estimated 33 PREA compliance and certification audits Option Year 4: Estimated 33 PREA compliance and certification audits The services shall be in accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act Prisons and Jail Standards and the Statement of Work. The request for quote will be available on or after June 30, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the proposal will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about July 23, 2014. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is set aside for small business. All responsible small business concerns may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
