Description

NSN: 5895-01-537-6441- LOS SATCOM ANT being bought in accordance with Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. / 0ESR2 for part number 307277-500. Based on market research this item is commercial and will be solicited using FAR Part 12. The required quantity is 10 each to be shipped to (SW3121) Albany, GA ZIP CODE 31704-1128. FOB Origin and inspection acceptance at Destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 08/08/2014. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is unrestricted. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, per provisions (52.215-9C09, 52.211-9051, and 52.215-9022). The required delivery is 150 days. Best commercial packaging is acceptable. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. Unit of Issue: EA The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 5985. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
