- The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Connecticut intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to: U.S. Technology Corporation, 4200 Munson Street NW, Canton, OH. 44718-2981, cage code 1AM56; for plastic blasting media (30/60) Type VIII. Market research indicates that this exact material is patented and that no other company or source has the right to manufacture or distribute it. Market research also indicates that the targeted source is the only source that offers the service of picking up and recycling of their used material. Said service is an extremely important part of this requirement and it is included in related unit pricing. If this is incorrect email clear and convincing evidence to the person below prior to the required response date and time. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
