- Specifications FAR Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for 36 metal electronic consoles for a maritime bridge simulator/classroom setting in accordance FAR Subpart 12.6. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-14-394PXC031 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The requirement consists of the purchase of consoles to house existing electronic equipment in the SCANTS Part-Task Simulators in the Professional Maritime Studies Branch at the USCG Academy New London, CT. Each cabinet console must meet the following specifications: -All metal construction with vented side panels -Matte black coating -Removable/adjustable electronic rack type shelving -Hard mounted internal power strip -Vented latch operated front door -Vented flush mounted rear door -Lockable casters -Similar in appearance and operation to existing equipment at Coast Guard Academy depicted in picture attached. -Shipped with main body of cabinet/console assembled. The Academy requires twenty-four (24) consoles with the following overall dimensions: Height: 38" (+/- 2") Width: 23" (+/- 1") Depth: 26" (+/- 1") The Academy requires eight (8) consoles with the following overall dimensions: Height: 35" (+/- 2") Width: 23" (+/- 1") Depth: 26" (+/- 1") The Academy requires four (4) consoles with the following overall dimensions: Height: 38" (+/- 2") Width: 28" (+/- 1") Depth: 26" (+/- 1") Note: Differing heights may be achieved by added various bases or cap type accessories to an overall cabinet frame to achieve overall look/feel in attached schematic.
