III 3 Rutgers Plaza New Brunswick, N.J. 08901 ATTN: Gail Schmidt, Senior Buyer Phone: (848) 932-2907, Fax: (732) 932-4390 Email: gschmidt@rci.rutgers.edu Date for receipt of proposals : Thursday, September 4, 2014 This RFP seeks proposals from qualified individuals and firms to support the development and delivery of training programs, seminars, and workshops on the implementation and use of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) in public transit. This can include but is not limited to: Developing and/or modifying presentations and/or instructional materials on specific topics that will be included in NTI's offerings Reviewing and providing feedback on instructional materials developed by NTI and/or other sources Facilitating training at NTI's courses, seminars, or workshops. The goal of NTI's training on transit ITS is to increase awareness of ITS and how the transit core suite of technologies can be deployed to deliver safer and more efficient transit services. Current offerings include awareness level courses, seminars, and workshops on rural ITS and multimodal traveler information systems.
