- Attachment 5 - DOL Wage Determination Attachment 4 - Experience Questionaire Attachment 3 - Specifications, Drawings, and Maps Attachment 2 - Site - Pre-Bid Location Map Attachment 1 - Detailed Schedule of Items SF-1442 Solicitation The United States Forest Service (USFS) on the National Forests of North Carolina, Nantahala Ranger District, has a requirement for the Nantahala and Tuckasegee River Improvement project. This work shall consist of the construction of two timber picnic shelters, the construction of a new five (5) car parking area including asphalt surfacing and markings, and the construction of three new hiking trails that include native rock steps and trail prism construction to USFS Standards. This project is located at located at Gray Ridge in Jackson County, North Carolina and will be the location of the pre-bid meeting. From Tuckasegee, NC take NC 281 approximately 12.31 miles out of Tuckasegee and turn right onto State Road 1139. Follow State Road 1139 to the end of the asphalt road. The approximate coordinates are: 35°13'28.8"N, 83°01'14.8"W. If using Google Maps, type in the search box: 35.224668, -83.020772. UPDATE: The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid guarantee is not required. Payment bond will be required of the successful offeror. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 23 July 2014. UPDATE: A site visit is scheduled to be held on 4 Aug 2014 at 1000; location at the project location. Time and date subject to change; be sure to check the solicitation for accurate time, date, and location of this site visit. UPDATE: The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
