- ITEM 0001: NSN: 1730-01-159-5472RN, Part Number 10A20000-001, Sling, Aircraft Maintenance. Sling supports B-1B aircraft escape hatches, carriage ejection seats, fuel blower line replaceable units, chaff/flares packages, accessory drive subsystems, auxiliary power unit hydraulic accumulators, integrated drive generators, auxiliary power units, hydraulic reservoirs, wing sweep power drive units, fuel oil heat exchangers and windshields. Sling lifts loads up to 500 lbs and is made of Darcon Polyester Straps. This requirement is for one (1) each. Place of delivery for basic quantity is FE4661, one (1) each due 180 days ARO contract. ITEM 0002: Proof Load Certificate. Original copy of one (1) each to be shipped with item 0001. This certificate will serve as evidence that item 0001 has passed proof testing by the manufacturer. Place of delivery will be IAW DD Form 1423-1, which will be available online when the RFQ is posted. Proof Load Certificate is due 180 days ARO Contract, IAW DD Form 1423-1. Data and drawings will be available at www.fbo.gov when RFQ is posted. The approximate RFQ issue date will be 23 July 2014; quotes are due 22 August 2014. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fbo.gov only. No hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors shall prepare their quotes in accordance with instructions contained in the RFQ. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All questions regarding the RFQ and /or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Kevin.beck.8@us.af.mil with copy to Tara.Odom@us.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notifications for the RFQ and all amendments/revisions and to check www.fbo.gov site prior to submission of quote.
