Description

This acquisition is for the purchase of storage and server equipment for the VA Informatics and Computing Infrastructure (VINCI) environment installed at AITC (Austin Information Technology Center) in Austin TX. As the need for big data continues, so does VINCI's need to increase Tier 4 (long term) storage to support 2000+ research projects. VINCI is taking two avenues to address our data life cycle needs.
