DESCRIPTION: The intent is to award an indefinite quantity type contract for a total duration which shall not exceed __5__ years. NSN/Item Description: CLIN NSN ITEM NAME Unit of Measure ADQ 0001 5965012330771 MICROPHONE,DYNAMIC EA 7799 All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. Items will be shipped to CONUS or OCONUS locations. FOB Origin required. Inspection/Acceptance points: Destination. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about 8/8/14. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance among other evaluation factors. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. 11. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Partial Set-Aside (The solicitation shall be released as an UNRESTRICTED acquisition. However, the set-aside portion shall be competed among the small businesses who submitted proposals.) This solicitation is a 50% small business set-aside. Only the non set-aside portion is initially solicited and competed. The solicitation clauses and other information reflect only this reduced quantity. An award will first be made on the non set-aside portion. The set-aside portion will be negotiated with the lowest responsive small business concern who submitted an offer. See FAR 19.502-3(c) for information regarding partial set-asides.
