- ITEM 0001: NSN: 4920015120266RN, Part Number 21C6313P01, Stand, Maintenance, Aircraft Engine, used to accurately measure the radial lengths of blades and seals of J85compressor rotors while spinning the rotor at measurement speeds. Approximate measurements: length 4.5520 FT, width 2.4170 FT, height 4.6670 FT, weight 950 LB. Predominant material: Metal. No data/drawings available. Requirement is for one (1) each and one option for one (1) each. Option I is valid for 365 days. Place of delivery is FE2805 and is due 180 days ARO contract. Place of delivery for the option is To Be Determined (TBD) and is due 180 days after option is exercised. The approximate RFP issue date is 7 Aug 2014; proposal will be due 8 Sep 2014. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. This is a sole source requirement that will be purchased from Rhinestahl Corp. (5QE71), General Electric's authorized vendor/licensee, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(14)(iii) - Buy American Act/Construction Materials under Trade Agreements: One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
