- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS OFE COPPER FA9300-14-M-5011B The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards Air Force Base, AFTC/PZRA, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the capability of providing OFE Copper, as described below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 331420 - Copper Rolling, Drawing, Extruding, and Alloying. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. Contract award is estimated to take place before 31 Aug 2014. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and to determine whether to set-aside/restrict competition in some way or solicit offers from all responsible sources. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources-sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals - no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. This synopsis is for planning purposes only, does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary - the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
