- DLA MARITIME - PUGET SOUND intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of Distiller Tube Bundle Assemblies to assist in Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) maintenance operations. This requirement will be procured on an unrestricted basis using the commercial item procedures for sole-source acquisitions outlined in FAR Part 12 and under the FAR Part 13.5. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a single Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Purchase Order. The applicable NAICS Code is 332410. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-14-Q-0482. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Aqua-Chem, Inc.(CAGE: 0EXU3) per FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
