- Renovate lodging facility, Building 5102 (approx. 29,000 SF, 3 stories), at Westover ARB, MA. This project consists of the demolition of existing - and then replacement with new - features as follows: interior walls, flooring, ceiling, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems. All rooms will be converted to the current standard which includes a private bathroom. Install fire protection system, mass notification system and elevator. Refinish all interior surfaces, install carpet in all corridors and guest rooms and install ceramic tile in guest room bathrooms. This Project shall be LEED Silver Certified (GBCI). Construction of this project includes Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) windows and elements to resist progressive collapse. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $36,500,000.00. The construction cost range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bids will be awarded based on low price, Sealed Bid This procurement is being offered as Full and Open with 10% HUBZone preference. Contract Duration is 450 Days. The approximate due date for bids will be Tuesday 09 September 2014 at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). Project documents will be available on or after Thursday 07 August 2014 by download from the Internet only. The official closing date and time will be included in the solicitation. A Pre-Proposal meeting will be held at Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts - the exact date, time, and location will be noted in the solicitation.
