- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition Operations Acquisition Business Services, intends to award a sole source contract to Network Media Partners also identified as the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) 21740 Beaumeade Circle, STE 125, Ashburn, VA 20147, for Corporate Sponsorship Membership, monthly full page color advertising in the NCMA Magazine, the purchase of NCMA Memberships for both the Veterans Affairs (VA) interns and the other 1,400 contracting professionals employed throughout the VA. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 USC 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement.. The anticipated period of performance is a 12 month base period; with four (4) option periods of twelve (12) months each for a (60 months total). This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and is not a request for quote. Therefore, no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 12:00pm Eastern Time by August 5, 2014, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via e-mail transmittal to michelle.bailey@va.gov The determination not to compete the contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All questions or comments regarding this notice shall be addressed in writing to Ms. Michelle Bailey, Contracting Specialist at Michelle.Bailey@va.gov
