- The WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WNNMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on Behalf of MAIN OPERATING ROOM has awarded a sole source procurement to MEDTRONIC for medical supplies SET SCREWS, RODS. (URGENT REQUIREMENT) The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP. THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT FOR OPEN BIDS. Consolidated Appropriations prohibited from contracting with a corporation that has been convicted of a felony in the last 24 months 252.209-7998.
