- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Ensure all products meet the requirement according to the MECS. This will be evaluated on lowest price technically accepted (LPTA). Technically Acceptable: The contractor shall provide a quote for the items listed. The items must be identical or technically equal to the items listed in the Minimum Essential Characteristics. Price: The cost is the least important when compared to technically acceptable and past performance. Cost may become the determining factor as quotes are determined to be technically equal. Overview: ECORAY Lamp will be in a quantity of 96 each, with parts included with the solicitation and Minimal Essential Characteristics (MECS). The requirement is for Fort Detrick Wastewater Treatment Plant UV System that is provided for the purpose of disinfection of the final effluent at Fort Detrick. Solicitation No. W81XWH14T0351 will be issued on 22 July 2014, and quotes will be due on 28 July 2014 @ 04:00 PM EST. Please see the solicitation for the parts for WEDECO a Xylem Brand Name or Equal. Will have the Minimum Essential Characteristics enclosed with the solicitation on FedBizOps. Please ensure a quote is enclosed, and if not a brand name a brochure and specifications are uploaded on ASFI website FedBizOps. The required part entails the support of the Water Treatment Plant. (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333911 with a size standard of 500 employees. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments. In accordance with FAR 13.5 all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the quote mark System for Award Management registration (SAM) can be accomplished at the following website: www.sam.gov. This procurement is set-a-side is unrestricted. Quotes will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Price and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award.
