- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA209), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, firm fixed price Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0018 to Rockwell Collins, Inc., 400 Collins RD NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498-0505 for Integration Support for the Avionics Communications Suite Upgrade (ACSU) for the US Air Force HH-60G aircraft assigned to Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) units at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, Francis S. Gabreski ANG Base, NY, Moffett Field, CA, Elemendorf-Richardson Joint Base, AK and Patrick AFB, FL. This order will also include the necessary programmatic/integration support and training materials for the same locations. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Rockwell Collins is the sole designer, manufacturer, and supplier of the AN/ARC-210 radios. As such, Rockwell Collins is the only contractor that has the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data to perform the above tasks to support the HH-60G requirement. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the ANG directly. This synopsis is not a Request for Proposals. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.
