- Description
- There are two purposes for this contract. The first is to repair older Hydrolab MS4 instruments that the District uses to measure total dissolved gas concentrations in the Columbia, Snake, and Clearwater Rivers. The manufacturer no longer repairs these instruments since they are now selling the newer MS5 units. It is more cost effective to have the existing units serviced rather than replace them with new ones at this time since they can still meet our needs if repaired. The second purpose is to acquire a ruggedized tablet to replace our existing Hydrolab Surveyor that is over ten years old. The Surveyor is designed to only interface with Hydrolab products, whereas the tablet will interface with several brands of instruments.
