- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered; however, it is the Government's intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Mathworks. This procurement is for a Limited Sources and Brand Name purchase of Mathworks software for project support for users and high performance computing facility to provide capability for large data intense calculations. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in it offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. Delivery is FOB Destination, 30 days after the date of contract award. Delivery Address: Building 5400 Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898 Proposals must be submitted to George Purpura via email at george.r.purpura@us.army.mil no later than Wednesday, 23 July 2014 1000 CST. Questions must be submitted to George Purpura no later than 22 July 2014 1700 CST. All questions will be answered in an amendment to this solicitation and distributed to all interested vendors. No other brands will be accepted IAW (FAR) 3.302-1(c)(1). Please see the attached Documents further information.
