- SYNOPSIS: REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS in support of CERCLA. NOTICE: THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT, NOT AN RFQ. The intent of this notice is to inform the vendor community of USFWS's proposed contract action. This proposed procurement is for items which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than July 29, 1 pm CT. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The US Fish & Wildlife Service intends to award a sole source contract to Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The purpose of this procurement is for reimbursement of costs incurred by Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IL EPA) in providing technical services to USFWS for support of the environmental response including remediation and restoration activities at the Crab Orchard NWR National Priorities List Site, Marion, IL, in accordance with the Federal Facilities Agreement pursuant to CERCLA for environmental cleanup at Crab Orchard NWR. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services with a size standard of $14.0.
