- Description
- NAICS code and size standard have been changed to NAICS code 332420 and 500 employees, 22 July 2014. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure a "brand name or equal" 10,000 gallon Above-Ground Storage Tank for the 89 Maintenance Squadron at Joint Base Andrews MD. The proposed item will be solicited on a firm-fixed price basis, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c). This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332420, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal constitutes the best value to the Government utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation procedures. The solicitation and specifications will be posted on or around July 22, 2014 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to monitor this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning SAM registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov or by calling the Federal Service Desk at 1-866-606-8220. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
