- plans specs solicitation The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Soo Locks Facility is in need of a construction project The project, located at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Soo Locks Facility, will replace the electrical and control systems of the MacArthur Lock. The project includes, the replacement and/or rehabilitation of electrical and control equipment associated with the lock such as switchboards, motors, panel boards, control sensors, control bench boards, control and power cables. Work requirements statement: The work to modernize the electric and control systems will require the contractor phase work and to supply temporary power and appurtances necessary to maintain lock operations and controls per required timeframes. Security: The contractor personnel will be required to obtain Security Clearance and undergo a background check through the USACE Security Office. The project will be located at the Soo Area Office, Sault Ste Marie, MI 49783-2445.
