- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Langley Research Center (LaRC) is seeking capability statements from 8(a) Certified Companies and 8(a) Joint Ventures for the NASA LaRC Occupational Health Program Support Contract. The primary purpose of the Occupational Health Program is: Operation of the LaRC Occupational Health Clinic; Provision of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP); Center Occupational Health Program Promotion and Consultation Support and; Operation of the NASA LaRC Fitness Program and Center. The Government reserves the right to consider different types of set-asides based on responses hereto. Interested offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the requirement herein should submit a Capability Statement of five pages or less (Minimum Font Size 12).Responses should include the following: (a) Name, Address, and Point of Contact for Firm; (b) Size of Business/ Joint Venture (large, small, 8(a), veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, woman-owned small business) and the validity dates for the size designation; (c) Contract Number, Description, and Contact Information for existing Federal Contractual Vehicles such as a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Contracts (d) Personnel and Staffing Capabilities, Qualifications, and Certifications to perform the required work and; (e) Specific Examples and Customer Contact Information demonstrating successful experience in Occupational Health Program Support including the (1) Operation of an Occupational Health Clinic (2) Provision of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP); (3) Occupational Health Program Promotion and Consultation and; (4) Operation of the NASA LaRC Fitness Program and Center.Please advise if the requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-type product, as defined in FAR 2.101. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 621999, Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Services, with a size standard of $15,000,000 annually. This is a sources sought synopsis to be used for information purposes only for preliminary planning purposes to assist NASA LaRC in its procurement strategy, to assess capabilities and qualifications of potential offerors, gain knowledge of interest, and to support any potential set-asides. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Any questions and all responses shall be submitted to Krista Y.
