- MALTA BUNKHOUSE REROOF PROJECT 2014 IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAY'S, THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AND PRINT. The intent of the contract is to provide for the complete construction of the project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. This Request for Quote consists of re-roofing a bunkhouse at the Malta Work Center. The project consists of the installation of standing seam metal roof panels on a bunkhouse building. Sloped sections of roof currently have an existing asphalt shingle roof with an approximate roof slope of 6.5 inches vertical to 12 inches horizontal. Flat sections of roof currently have a built up roofing system. On the sloped portion of the roof the work consists of the removal of existing asphalt shingles and tar paper/ice and water shield, installation of 1/2-inch plywood over the existing wood planking, installation of ice and water shield over the entire roof sheathing, and installation of 30# roofing felt over ice and water shield. Work consists of the removal of existing penetration flashing. Work includes installation of new flashing as shown including new rake, eave, ridge, valley, and penetration flashing. On the flat portion of the roof the work consists of installation of a modified bitumen membrane roofing system. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION The project is located on the Sawtooth National Forest. The site is located approximately 35 miles by road southeast of Burley, Idaho via interstate highway 84 and state highway 81. The project is located at the Malta Work Center located at 230 North Main Street in Malta, Cassia County, Idaho. CONTACT DUWAYNE KIMBALL.
