Description
SCOPE OF WORK Scope of Work for the Procurement of one Hydraulic Cutting Attachment Physical Support Branch, Maintenance and Repair Section, request the award of a contract for the procurement of one hydraulic concrete cutting attachment designed for a 90,000lb class excavator. This unit will be installed on a 946 Liebherr excavator. The concrete cutter will be used to remove concrete from vertical and horizontal surfaces. The 946 Liebherr excavator belonging to the US Army Corps of Engineers is equipped with a Liebherr quick attach per the following model #SW QCAdapter 2012412 SWA66 10849908 0007n11072044. The supplied Hydraulic Concrete Cutter shall have the ability to have a smooth drum installed on either side to make a cut with one side a maximum of 24 inches in width and 6 inches in depth. The hydraulic motor shall be mounted in the cutter head. It shall be delivered with the adapter plate installed to allow for mounting to the Liebherr Quick Attach. The cutter shall be equipped with integrated rotation. There shall be a full set of cutter teeth installed and full set of spare cutter teeth. It shall be supplied with a smooth drum for each side. Hydraulic hoses shall be of sufficient length and come with quick couplers to mate with the Liebherr quick couplers installed on the 946 Excavator. The Concrete cutter shall be delivered in operating condition with all standard safety equipment installed and operational. Delivery no later than 03 November 2014 Monday through Friday 0700 to 1530 No weekends or Holidays. Operators manual shall be with the unit when delivered. Contractor shall provide a qualified technician to instruct government personnel how to properly attach the equipment to the Liebherr excavator and ensure proper operation of the device on site for one eight hour day. Time and date of onsite technician visit shall be coordinated at least five working days prior with the government technical POC listed below. Costs of delivery of the cutter shall be included in the bid.
