- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Regional Office, intends to issue a solicitation for AV Equipment and Installation Services at Haskell Indian Nations University, in Douglas County, KS. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to install AV equipment inside Ross Hall Rooms 140, 137, 128A, 128B, 121A, 121B, 122 and Ta,-I-Nend Hall 112 in Lawrence, Kansas. At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference and organized site visit is planned for this solicitation. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000- $100,000. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106, based on Price and Experience. The RFP will result in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) construction contract. The estimated period of performance for this project is 45 days from the time the Notice to Proceed is issued. The solicitation will be available on August 1, 2014 and proposals will be due on August 22, 2014 at 1700 CDT. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238210, with a size standard of $14,000,000. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed the size standard stated above. This solicitation is being set aside for a Woman Owned Small Business.
