- THIS AMENDMENT IS ISSUED TO ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS IN REFERENCE TO THE ORIGINAL CSS: Questions and Answers (Second Set of Questions) 22 July 2014 Question 1 - One of the items listed is quote mark 110 volt power quote mark. Can you please give a better definition of this item? Unit is said to be for quote mark remote test sights quote mark. I'm not sure if that means that the pump on this unit is to be engine driven or electric driven via a 110V power source (generator) which is not provided. Answer - 1 We are requesting a 110VAC fuel compatible pump (with fire rated). We will either have shore power at the test site or a generator to provide the power for the pump. Question 2 - First items says tank is stainless steel, but third item says it is carbon steel construction. Is tank to be stainless steel for carbon steel? Answer - 2. We are requesting a double wall construction. The contractor can accomplish this anyway they desire. Our approach was to have a Stainless steel inner tank and a carbon steel outer tank. This is the configuration we have received in the past when we procured a fuel bowser. Question 3 - Is unit required to have bottom loading feature or will tank be top loaded? Answer - 3. We did not get to this level of detail in our specification. The vendor can provide what they think will provide the safe and efficient function.
